Match Details Report
At the opening of the Shimizu tournament, the customary live performance by TRY☆ANGLE, consisting of ring announcer Yurie Kosakai, Yuzuki Hoshino, and Saya Kamitani, took place, where they performed "Mirai no Stardom" (Future Stardom)
However, Kageko, who suddenly appeared at the Shimizu tournament in February of last year, suddenly reappeared and stormed into the ring. Announcer Kosakai, who knew of Kageko's existence, was delighted to see her again, but Hoshino and Kamitani, who debuted in the latter half of last year, were unaware of Kageko's existence and calmly retorted, "No, no, isn't that Kagetsu-san?" Before the bell, the two men shook hands firmly and locked up, pushing each other. Kid pushed forward and they broke cleanly, but Hoshino landed a series of elbows followed by a dropkick. Kid dodged it, causing Hoshino to miss, and then caught him in a headlock. Hoshino threw Kid into the ropes, but Kid countered with a cross chop and a body slam. Kid then threw Hoshino into the ropes again, but Hoshino hit a dropkick. Kid immediately retaliated with a dropkick and ran to the ropes, but Hoshino returned with three consecutive dropkicks. Gaining momentum, Hoshino went for a body slam, but Kid resisted, so Hoshino took his back and put him in a body scissors sleeper hold
When Kid breaks the ropes, Hoshino drops a dropkick to Kid's back and tries to throw him into the corner, but Kid turns around and charges. Hoshino counters with a dropkick of his own, followed by a running dropkick and a body slam. He then declares "It's over!" and attempts a hurricanrana, but Kid dodges it, and Hoshino lands on his feet and delivers a low dropkick to the leg. Hoshino runs to the ropes, but Kid counters with a crucifix hold, and when Hoshino kicks out, Kid shouts "Take this!" and delivers a standing moonsault press. He tries to pull him up again, but Hoshino holds on with a schoolboy and delivers a low dropkick as he gets up. As Hoshino charges again, Kid attempts a side-rolling prawn hold followed by a body slam, but Hoshino counters with a neck hold and goes for a running elbow. Kid catches him and grapples with him for a lightning spiral. He then jumps onto the corner and crushes him with a spinning frog splash for the three count
After the match, Kid crouched beside the fallen Hoshino, whispered something to him, praised his valiant effort, and then left the ring

The 3-way battle featured Hana, Bee, and Sky—all highly skilled fighters who could challenge for any title at any time—and the match started with a tense atmosphere as the three glared at each other while circling the ring after the gong sounded
Sky broke the deadlock by attacking both of them with elbows, but Hana threw Sky out of the ring with an arm drag and engaged in a fierce rope battle with Bea. Bea won the battle and delivered a dropkick to Hana, but Sky returned to the ring and hit Bea with a double knee attack followed by a running PK. Sky then pushed Bea into the corner and stomped on her face, followed by a hammer punch. Bea retaliated with an elbow, and Sky returned the elbow, leading to an elbow exchange. Hana joined in, making it a three-way striking battle, and Hana, who had the upper hand, went for the ropes, but Bea and Sky kicked her away with a double chop and resumed their elbow exchange
Meanwhile, Hana climbs to the top turnbuckle and attempts a missile kick, but the two women dodge it, causing Hana to crash. They then throw Hana into the ropes, but Hana sends both of them flying with a dropkick and applies a cobra twist to Bea. Sky then charges in with a lariat, but Hana grabs Sky as well and applies a cobra twist to both of them simultaneously. When Sky escapes, Hana attempts a body slam to Bea. Sky returns and delivers a series of chops, but Hana kicks her away with a big boot and calls out to Bea, "Come on! Double brainbuster!", asking her to team up with her
Hana and Bea lift Sky into a brainbuster, but Hana lets go midway and tries to take advantage of the situation by attempting a schoolboy pin on Bea, who is still holding Sky. Bea kicks out and becomes enraged, using the referee as a shield and attacking Hana, but Hana pushes the referee aside and sends Bea flying towards the ropes with a big boot, then riles up the crowd and delivers a series of piercing big boots. She then lifts Bea up and slams her with a brainbuster and goes for a Hydrangea, but Bea shakes her off and hits a jumping knee. She then shouts "Finish!" and lifts Sky up for a Queen's Landing, but Sky intervenes and breaks up the pin. In the ensuing chaotic brawl between the three, Bea hits Hana with a high kick and knocks her down. Sky then hits Bea with a Codebreaker to eliminate her, and Sky hits Hana with a running knee before climbing to the corner and leaping at her, but Hana dodges and grabs Sky as she lands, trapping her in a Hydrangea. When this move was locked in tight, Sky had no choice but to tap out

AZM responded with a hurricanrana followed by a low dropkick, and then ran to the ropes, but Layla countered with a knee lift and followed up with a series of corner lariats on AZM, who was sent flying towards the ropes. AZM attempted a dropkick, but Layla dodged it, causing her to miss, and then ran to the ropes herself for a lariat, but AZM dodged it and jumped on her for a Christo. When Layla tried to break free, AZM quickly released the hold and slammed her down with a brainbuster, followed by a diving foot stomp from the top rope. Layla dodged this and delivered a running knee to the back of AZM's head as she landed. This time, Layla climbed to the corner and attempted a triangle jump moonsault press, but AZM followed up and interfered with a superplex. Then AZM climbed to the top turnbuckle and delivered a diving foot stomp. When Layla kicked out at two, AZM went for a Mystica followed by an armlock, but Layla got up, gained top position, and countered with an armbar
When AZM broke free, Layla went for a back drop, but AZM shook it off and landed a high kick before leaping to the ropes. Layla countered with a lariat, sending AZM flying through the air like she was in a car accident, and Layla followed up with an Olympic Slam, but the count was only two. Layla then went for a German suplex, but AZM countered with an Azumi Sushi from a Casadora position. When this was reversed, AZM landed another high kick, but Layla endured it and slammed her with a German suplex, then quickly jumped onto the corner and delivered a triangle jump moonsault press. This was the finishing move, and Layla got off to a rocket start with two consecutive wins in the High Speed GP

With Natsuko absent due to the flu, Jamie stepped in as her replacement. This match, which marked Kagetsu's last appearance with the entire Oedo Tai team, could be described as a rivalry between Oedo Tai and STARS
Tam, who still hasn't forgiven Kashima for betraying STARS, steps forward alone and glares at Kashima, extending her right hand, but Kashima kicks it away. Enraged, Tam attacks Kashima and the gong rings, but the three members of Oedo Tai focus their attack on Tam and kick her out of the ring, leading to a chaotic brawl outside the ring
First, Kagetsu threw Iida into the ring, and then Kashima returned to the ring and declared, "Let's do the rubber band snapping!" She put a rubber band in Iida's mouth, and Kagetsu let go of it in the audience seats, dealing a lot of damage to Iida's face. Kagetsu then egged on the crowd, "One more time!", and put the rubber band in Iida's mouth again. This time Jamie pulled the rubber band out to the audience seats, but Iida opened her mouth first, causing the rubber band to fly towards Jamie and injure her
Kashima stomped on Iida's face, shouting "Read the room!", before tagging Jamie
Jamie, along with Kagetsu and Kashima, stomped on Iida's face, then body-slammed him and, while expressing concern, asked "Are you okay?", ground his face into the mat, and then repeatedly slammed Iida's face into the corner
When Kagetsu tagged in, she threw Iida into the ropes and sprayed her with poison mist. She also sprayed poison mist at Riho, who protested vehemently, and then at the enraged referee Sado. Kagetsu then set Iida up sitting under the corner and performed a move that Natsu, who was absent from this tournament, was known for, a Bronco Buster followed by a hip shake, showcasing the bond of the Oedo Tai team, and then provoked Iida by saying "Come on, come on," as she allowed him to hit her with chops
Two days later, on the 14th, Iida will celebrate her first anniversary since her debut. In an attempt to show her growth, she unleashed a barrage of machine-gun chops, but Kagetsu managed to break free and run to the ropes, only to be countered with a double chop. She then managed to tag in Riho
Riho hit Kagetsu with a diving crossbody followed by a 619. She then attempted a brainbuster, but Kagetsu resisted, lifted her up, and retaliated with a backflip before tagging in Jamie
Jamie hit Riho with a spear lariat followed by a sliding knee. She then climbed to the corner, but Tam and Iida interfered and threw her back into the ring, where Riho delivered a diving foot stomp from the top turnbuckle. Riho shouted "It's over!" and attempted a Northern Lights suplex hold, but the count was only two. Riho ran to the ropes, but Jamie countered with a lariat. Both wrestlers lay sprawled on the ground and tagged out
When Tam and Kashima faced off, the two rivals glared at each other, butting heads with such force that it made a loud thud, and Tam delivered an elbow, saying, "Don't laugh at me." The two exchanged elbows, making dull thuds, and Tam let out a deep roar as he unleashed a barrage of blows. He then ran to the ropes, but Kashima countered with a big boot, sending him flying towards the ropes, followed by a piercing big boot. He then followed up with a body scissors whip and a kick to the face, shouting, "Tam! Is that all you've got! What's wrong?!" Tam continued to throw elbows while on his knees, but Kashima showed no mercy with stomps. However, Tam got up with a furious expression and delivered a slap followed by a diamond cutter. At this point, the members of Oedo Tai interfered and launched a train attack on Tam, and Kashima delivered a diving foot stomp. He then went for a spinning facebuster, but Tam resisted and shook him off, kicking him in the side of the head with a spin kick before tagging in Iida
Iida delivered a missile kick from the top rope, then shouted "Not yet! Get up!" and hit a second missile kick. She then shouted "Not yet!" and landed a third, showing off her fighting spirit with a series of pinfalls. She then called in Riho and Tam, and the three of them delivered a simultaneous low dropkick to Kashima. Iida shouted "I've got you!" and hit Iidabashi, but Kashima kicked out at the last moment. Iida delivered a series of elbows and went for the ropes, but Kagetsu sprayed poison mist from the apron, and Jamie hit Iida with a lariat while Iida was unable to see. Kashima attempted a double arm suplex hold followed by a spinning facebuster, but Iida shook her off and went for the ropes. However, Kagetsu jumped out onto the apron again and hit Iida with the Oedo Tai board, stopping Iida in her tracks, and Kashima immediately slammed her with my emblem to finish the match
After the match, Tam, still furious, charged at Kashima, but his corner men did everything they could to pull him away

When Giulia returned Kyoka to the ring, Andras and Giulia both grabbed her arms and applied simultaneous armlocks. When the referee called a warning, they released their hold and tagged Giulia back in
Julia tied the screamer's right arm to the rope and stomped on it repeatedly, then tagged in Andras
Andras grabbed Kyoko's right arm, swung her around, and then went for an armlock. When Kyoko stretched out her leg to break the hold, Andras grabbed Kyoko's arm while she was face down and stomped on her shoulder joint in a brutal arm attack
When Julia came out again, she yelled, "Does it hurt here?! Does it hurt here?!" and bit Julia's shoulder, which was tightly taped up, followed by a series of palm strikes and a chicken wing armlock. Konami broke it up, but Andras eliminated Konami
Giulia taunted Kyoko by spreading her arms wide and shouting, "You're the champion! What's wrong?!" Kyoko threw an elbow, but it lacked power. Giulia ran to the ropes, but Kyoko sent her flying with a desperate shoulder tackle, allowing Giulia to return to the ring
Konami and Giulia faced off, with Konami landing a sliding kick and then locking Giulia in a reverse Indians Deathlock. When Andras tried to interfere, Konami grabbed her and delivered a brainbuster. Giulia's leg was also damaged, and Konami continued to tighten the hold on her leg, but Giulia managed to grab the ropes. Konami threw Giulia into the corner, but Giulia turned around and laid Konami on the second rope, where she delivered a diving foot stomp followed by a Falcon Arrow. She then tagged in Andras
Andras throws Konami into the corner and delivers a running elbow drop before jumping off the ropes, but Kyoka hits her from the apron and Konami puts Andras in a rolling prawn hold. Kyoka then adds a lariat for a combined move, and the tag is passed to Kyoka
Kyoko unleashed a series of spirited shoulder tackles, but Giulia kicked her in the back from the apron, causing her to stumble. Andras seized the opportunity to apply an armlock. Giulia then followed up with a missile kick from the top rope, and the two attempted to throw Kyoko with a brainbuster, but Kyoko shook them off and knocked them both down with a double lariat
Konami then joins in, and the two of them land a series of high kicks and elbows before Kyoka delivers an Argentine Coaster. Kyoka then gets into position to throw Andras with a powerbomb, and as she slams her down, Konami delivers a missile kick in unison, completing a combined move that gets the count of three
Kyoko: "January 19th! Before the Goddess title defense at Korakuen Hall, we both won! Giulia and Andras, we both had high expectations, but it was like a cocktail that wasn't quite mixed together! In comparison, we were refined..."
(Julia snatches the microphone from the screaming woman)
Giulia: "Shut up. I know that without you telling me. I want that belt too. But I'll find a tag team partner, so soon. Until then, Arrivederci. See you later?... (To Andras) Goodbye."
(Andras leaves the stage alone, clutching the back of his head. Julia also leaves in a different direction.)

Iwatani and Momo pointed at each other and went out to start the match, and when the gong rang, Momo landed a low kick to take the lead. Iwatani tried to overwhelm her with speed, but Momo accurately landed middle kicks to stifle her momentum. Hoshiki and Kamitani then entered the ring and launched a concentrated attack on Momo, with all three delivering a simultaneous low dropkick. Iwatani tagged in Kamitani
Kamitani attempts a dropkick on Momo, sending her into the corner before charging at her. However, Momo counters with a dropkick of her own, then grabs Kamitani's hair and delivers nine quick, rapid soccer ball kicks. "What's wrong, idol!" she taunts, slamming Kamitani into the corner before tagging in Utami

Utami and Momo threw Kamiya into the ropes and performed a double flapjack. Onozaki followed up with an elbow drop, and Utami applied a camel clutch to Kamiya. Kamiya managed to break the hold by reaching the ropes on her own, and Utami threw her into the ropes again. Kamiya threw a dropkick, which was dodged the first time, but she managed to land a second one and tagged in Iwatani

At this point, Momo and Onozaki both attacked Iwatani, but Iwatani grabbed their arms and performed an arm drag while bouncing off the ropes. She then attempted a Rainmaker-style high kick, but Utami dodged it and delivered a lariat. She then tagged in Onozaki
Onozaki hit Hoshiki with a series of elbows followed by a diving back elbow. She then went for a Gun Stun and jumped to the ropes, but Hoshiki followed up with a jumping knee. However, the members of QQ then entered the ring one after another, with Utami throwing Hoshiki with a shoulder throw, Momo with a Soma Tou, and Onozaki with a schoolboy pin, but the STARS members all came out to break up the pin. In the ensuing brawl, Kamitani hit Onozaki with a missile kick from the top rope, and Hoshiki also hit a 1399 from the top rope and went for the pin, but Momo broke it up. Iwatani then charged in fiercely and knocked Momo away with a thrust kick, sending her outside the ring. Kamitani then climbed to the top rope and, despite her legs shaking, performed a plancha to the outside to continue the attack, leaving the match to Hoshiki in the ring
In the ring, Hoshiki unleashed a Brazilian kick, but Onozaki dodged it and grabbed his other leg, attempting a roll-up with a side-spin prawn hold and a crucifix hold, looking for a major upset. However, Hoshiki turned the tables and escaped, delivering a buzzsaw kick as Onozaki got up, followed immediately by a heel drop to the top of his head, and then, with a running start, hit a SHiNiNG IMPACT for the count of three

Onozaki hit Hoshiki with a series of elbows followed by a diving back elbow. She then went for a Gun Stun and jumped to the ropes, but Hoshiki followed up with a jumping knee. However, the members of QQ then entered the ring one after another, with Utami throwing Hoshiki with a shoulder throw, Momo with a Soma Tou, and Onozaki with a schoolboy pin, but the STARS members all came out to break up the pin. In the ensuing brawl, Kamitani hit Onozaki with a missile kick from the top rope, and Hoshiki also hit a 1399 from the top rope and went for the pin, but Momo broke it up. Iwatani then charged in fiercely and knocked Momo away with a thrust kick, sending her outside the ring. Kamitani then climbed to the top rope and, despite her legs shaking, performed a plancha to the outside to continue the attack, leaving the match to Hoshiki in the ring

Iwatani: "Today is the final preliminary match, and with so many people in this 6-person tag team, we haven't really been able to go head-to-head. So on the 19th at Korakuen Hall, I can sense Watanabe Momo's determination, but I mean, you know? I've lived 6 years longer than Momo (laughs), so I want to show off my experience!"
